The Division of Student Affairs is comprised of 25 functional areas that provide students with meaningful experiences and inclusive environments that promote holistic learning and development.
Our mission is to support student success, foster student engagement, inspire commitment to public affairs and instill our students with a sense of pride and tradition.
Help us continue to improve the student experience here at MSU by giving to one of the following:
- URSA- Celebrating 10 years on campus! Funds raised provide the opportunity for new students to attend this 3-day high impact engagement event that helps them build friendships, get involved in campus life, learn university traditions and get inspired to be a BEAR!
- Campus Recreation- Funds promote health, wellness and fitness programs for students through the Foster Recreation Center.
- Student Emergency Fund- Funds assist students who are confronted with an unforeseen personal crisis that has caused them to become unable to meet their college financial obligations.
- Student Affairs - General Funds- These funds allow us to be flexible and responsive to student needs by supporting new student initiatives.
- Residence Life- Funds support hall councils as they plan signature events, NRHH in their recognition efforts, RHA in their welcome week planning, travel for student leadership conferences, planning and hosting the regional conference, and more!
- Bear Breaks Immersion Trips- Educate. Engage. Empower. Immersion programs feature the opportunity for students to spend their breaks (spring, summer, fall) serving, immersed in communities. These experiences allow students to engage with communities, immerse themselves in cultures, test major and career choices, and grow as Citizen Bears.
- Bear Pantry- The Bear Pantry serves as a resource for members of the university community with food, hygiene items, and connections to additional services.
- Bears Lead- A two-year college transition program for first-time college students. The majority of Bears Lead students are low-income and/or first-generation college students. Your support through donations is crucial for us to continue to offer transformative programs such as partnerships with Bear Breaks for Spring Break trips to our students.
- Esports- Missouri State is now offering scholarships to students to represent the University in Intercollegiate esports competitions. Playing in the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) esports league, Missouri State has 16 students competing across three titles and is hosting the MVC LAN championship on April 12, 2025, in the Plaster Student Union. Missouri State also has an esports club that has over 50 active students that compete in a variety of titles. Support of the esports fund will allow students to travel for regional LAN competitions, provide apparel, and take part in online conferences.
Please consider helping students increase their capacity on and off campus.
