College of Education

For more than a century, Missouri State University has been integral to public education in Missouri. The university began as a Normal School in 1905, preparing teachers for public schools in Southwest Missouri. The College of Education has continued the tradition of preparing future and current teachers to excel in the teaching profession—MSU graduates the most certified teachers each year in the state. In addition, the college prepares individuals to work with children and families in a variety of settings.

Through close partnerships with local school districts and agencies, faculty at MSU offer vibrant, innovative programs that support growth and progress across the region. Your contribution will ensure that the College of Education continues to make a difference in the lives of children and families in Missouri.
